Nathan Andrew Edgar
AnguishNathan Andrew Edgar tragically passed away October 25, 2009.
He was born on December 26, 1992 in Salt Lake City and was the fourth son and fifth child of Gerald and Shauna Edgar.
Nathan's family will remember him as a fun, tender hearted boy who loved jokes and music. He was a very talented musician who played several instruments, many self-taught. His creative personality included composing his own music, art and poetry. He especially loved video games, donuts, bacon burgers at Carls Jr., egg McMuffins and gummy bears, and was a connoisseur of good root beer.
Nathan was very intelligent and often proved his genius by showing up older family members in matters of wit and knowledge. He had a ready laugh and was amused by the absurdities of everyday life. He was kind, especially to his canine and feline family members, and had many friends.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and often expressed his strong testimony to those he loved, whether by words or action.
He was a light in our lives and his family loves him and misses him daily.
Nate, in just three short months you changed my life for the better. You talked me through some of the hardest times, and helped me to realize who I am and what’s really important.
You're so talented, smart, kind, and humorous. Your unique and radiant personality always shines through, no matter where you are or who you're with. Your company is always such a gift. Without a shadow of a doubt, you're one of the best people I've had the joy, and honor, to know.
I can't believe that I won't be able to see you; at least not for a long time. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing your bright and shining face when my time comes to walk through those pearly gates.
Thank you so much for all that you taught and shared with me. You were an instant best friend; I could always come to you, and know I'll always be able to for the rest of my life.
The amount of love that you showed me through our friendship will always keep a special place in my heart and soul. I love and miss you so much, and I'm sure everyone agrees.
This isn't goodbye, and we both know it, so I won't bother saying it. Instead -- see you later, my friend!
